Thomas Cox was born and raised on a wheat and cattle ranch in Eastern Washington. He graduated from Washington State University in 1976 with a B.S. in Police Science, and earned an additional B.A. in Political Science in 1977. He attended Gonzaga School of Law, and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 1982. His first three years of criminal trial experience were obtained as a Rule 9 Intern for the prosecuting attorney's office in Spokane County, Washington. He has been an attorney for over 25 years; his full-time practice involves criminal defense.

Mr. Cox will consult with clients regarding their situations based on his expertise and experience, using language that is easy to understand. He believes that everyone is entitled to representation at each step of the criminal proceeding, and will do so knowledgeably.
