Babe the Frisbee Champion

Babe, George's beloved Aussie Shepherd/ Cattle dog mix, was born December 1st, 1998. She competed in frisbee competitions all over North America, and was featured in television programs and commercials because of her ability to jump so high and gracefully that she stunned all audiences.

After 11 tail-flapping, high flying years, Babe sadly passed away on December 14th, 2009, in the comfort of her bed at home from what is thought to have been pancreatic cancer.

She lives on in the memories of those who were lucky enough to see her compete or perform, and in the hearts of the humans who dearly loved her.

If you should visit Mr. Freeman's office, be sure to have a look at Babe's wall of accomplishments, which showcases her many award medals and winning frisbees.

When God made the earth and sky, flowers and the trees,
He then made all the animals, the birds and the bees.

When His work was finished, not one was quite the same.
He said, "I'll walk this earth of mine and give you all a name."

And so He travelled land and sea, and everywhere He went,
a little creature followed him until its strength was spent.

When all were named upon the earth and in the sky and sea,
the little creature said, "Dear Lord, there's not one left for me."

The Father smiled and softly said, "I've left you till the end,
I'll turn my own name back to front, and call you 'dog,' my friend."
